My students and I are enjoying exploring the texts together. The texts easily lead the students to make many connections to other texts and the world around them. The students are able to bring their prior knowledge to enrich discussions and are posing many wonder questions that can be researched beyond the text.
All the ideas shared today will help me give my students the support they need. Thank you to the group who helped me with my challenge around vocabulary. It helped me to clarify my thinking about what is important in the process of word work (students being able to apply strategies to help them understand word meaning in context).
